Nyjer Seed
Nyjer Seed derives from a plant native to Africa. It is highly nutritious and attracts various smaller birds, including goldfinches, pine siskins, and juncos. Because the seeds are so small, feeders with tiny feeding ports are recommended. They are also often included in mixed birdseed.
